NaturaFace Facelift Surgery For NYC

Facial Rejuvenation for Long Island, Manhattan, and Westchester

For years, facelift surgery in NYC has been one of the most popular forms of surgical cosmetic enhancement for residents of Long Island, Westchester, Manhattan, and the entire New York metropolitan area. In fact, many consider it the gold standard for facial rejuvenation simply because its lasting results can subtract years from a person's appearance with results that can last ten years or more. Also known as rhytidectomy, the facelift is designed to significantly reduce signs of aging in the mid to lower face and neck by lifting sagging skin and smoothing out deep wrinkles and creases. The end result is a more youthful, refreshed appearance.

At Cosmoplastic Surgery, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Alizadeh offers NaturaFace, a holistic facelift with NaturaGlow fat grafting to restore volume, as well as the liquid facelift for those who prefer a nonsurgical option to facial rejuvenation. Dr. Alizadeh presents customized facelift options for each person he treats. His primary goal is safe, natural-looking facial rejuvenation that lasts for years.

Dr. Alizadeh works with a trusted anesthesiologist in a boutique operating-room setting to provide adequate sedation with minimal recovery downtime from anesthesia. Most patients are able to walk home the same day.

Face Lift Options for Long Island and New York

Dr. Alizadeh, one of Long Island's most accomplished, highly skilled, and respected plastic surgeons, offers the following facial-rejuvenation options for his patients:

Not all options are appropriate for all people, so Dr. Alizadeh encourages patients to schedule a consultation to discuss how to best meet their individual aesthetic goals.

Although the facelift has been successfully performed for many years, the procedure itself has advanced considerably, incorporating new surgical techniques and FDA-approved technologies. Dr. Alizadeh understands that the best outcomes stem from a multi-vector approach. In other words, unlike older facelift procedures, today's techniques involve less pulling and more repositioning of tissue. They can be supplemented with fat removal, if needed, or NaturaGlow fat grafting to replenish lost volume. Most patients also benefit from a laser skin resurfacing procedure that may include laser, chemical peel, or dermabrasion for smoother, younger-looking skin.

NaturaFace Face Lift with Fat Grafting

Traditional rhytidectomy surgery reduces sagging, deep folds, wrinkles, and other signs of aging by tightening underlying facial muscles, supportive connective tissues, and skin. Dr. Alizadeh's NaturaFace, a clear departure from older facelift techniques, combines multiple small technical advances to allow for a minimally invasive approach while maximizing the natural-looking results individualized for each patient.

Inspired by Nature

The highly personalized NaturaFace facelift can either restore volume through autologous NaturaGlow fat grafting or eliminate excess facial fat, depending on each patient's aesthetic needs and unique facial anatomy. The end result is a more youthful appearance with results that look natural and beautiful—and never overdone.

The facelift addresses these specific aesthetic needs:

  • Lifts drooping skin in the mid to lower face and neck
  • Restores a more defined, firmer-looking jaw line
  • Tightens sagging jowls
  • Removes facial folds
  • Smooths deep creases and lines

Each person has unique facial anatomy, and everyone ages in different ways and at different rates, which explains why the results of a one-size-fits-all facelift simply do not compare to those of a personalized, multi-faceted approach.

During your consultation at Cosmoplastic Surgery, advanced Vectra 3-D technology will generate computer images of potential surgical outcomes, revealing your facelift results before you ever step foot into the operating room.

What to Expect from Surgery

Traditional facelift surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia, and it usually requires one to three hours to complete. Surgery involves creating incisions above the hairline at the temples, extending to the front of the ear or inside the front cartilage and behind the earlobe. The skin and fat are separated from the muscles, which are then tightened. In addition, the supportive connective tissue of the face is manipulated or removed before being secured in a more youthful position. Any excess skin is excised, and the remaining skin is tightened to smooth wrinkles and deep creases. Once all tissues are optimally placed, the incisions are closed.

These certifications ensure that each facility meets or exceeds the highest standard of care. You can be assured of hands-on care and excellent recovery with his team.

What to Expect During Recovery

Following a facelift, patients can expect some swelling and bruising, which will resolve with time. Dr. Alizadeh uses absorbable sutures and surgical tissue glues, eliminating the need for suture removal. As an added benefit, dressings are removed after the first 24 to 48 hours, helping patients feel much freer and more comfortable. Meticulous attention to anesthesia pain management protocols helps ensure that patients require minimal pain medication following surgery.

Patients must avoid strenuous activity for about two weeks after surgery, but they can usually return to normal daily routines within approximately ten days.

Most patient's scars from the procedure remain well hidden within the hair or natural creases of the face and ears, so they appear barely visible and fade over time. Patients can expect to see the full results of a facelift in the first few weeks after surgery.
