CHEMICAL PEELS

This procedure entails the application of a chemical solution to the skin, leading to the controlled removal of the top layer. The peeling process uncovers a smoother and more uniformly toned skin beneath. Chemical peels are particularly effective in treating skin issues such as acne, sun damage, and irregular pigmentation.

SURGICAL EXCISION

Surgical excision is a procedure that removes skin lesions, such as moles, cysts, and skin cancers. Dr. Alizadeh carefully cuts out the lesion and surrounding tissue during the procedure, ensuring complete removal. This method is particularly effective for lesions that need to be biopsied or those that are suspicious of skin cancer. After the excision, the wound is carefully closed to minimize scarring, and the removed tissue is sent for pathological analysis to ensure complete removal and rule out any underlying health concerns.

ELECTRICAL DESICCATION AND HYFRECATOR REMOVAL

Electrical desiccation and hyfrecator removal eliminate various skin lesions, including warts, skin tags, and sebaceous hyperplasia. The procedure involves using a hyfrecator, which is a low-powered medical device that delivers a high-frequency electrical current to the lesion, effectively destroying the targeted tissue. This method is minimally invasive and can be performed in an outpatient setting. After the treatment, the area may scab and heal over the following weeks, resulting in removing the lesion with minimal scarring.
