Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?
A: My name is Nicholas Pannitto, and I’m a Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in aesthetic medicine. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I’ve always carried the pride and resilience of my hometown with me. I began my academic journey studying Physiology at the University of Akron, where I developed a deep understanding of the human body and its potential. My passion for patient care led me to Chamberlain University, where I earned my nursing degree and later completed my training as a Nurse Practitioner.
Q: What drew you to aesthetic medicine?
A: Early in my clinical journey, I knew aesthetic medicine was where I wanted to be. I was drawn to the unique blend of science and artistry — where evidence-based care meets creative precision — to enhance natural beauty and boost confidence. As a provider, I take pride in delivering safe, subtle, and personalized aesthetic treatments. I believe that great results begin with great communication, and I strive to build trust with each patient through education, transparency, and a tailored approach to care.
My goal is to help people feel like the best version of themselves — refreshed, confident, and empowered. This profession is more than a career to me; it’s a passion. And I’m proud to bring that passion into every treatment, every conversation, and every result.
Q: Do you have any favorite treatments to perform?
A: Out of all the treatments I offer, dermal fillers and biostimulators are among my favorites. They each offer a unique way to enhance natural beauty while supporting long-term skin health and facial structure.
Dermal fillers allow for an incredible level of artistry — subtly restoring volume, contouring facial features, and creating balanced, refined results that still look natural. The immediate transformation and the boost in confidence patients feel is what makes them so rewarding to perform.
Biostimulators, on the other hand, work more gradually by stimulating the body’s own collagen production. They offer a powerful way to improve skin quality and structure over time, providing a foundation for graceful, long-lasting results. I love incorporating biostimulators into treatment plans because they align perfectly with my philosophy: natural-looking outcomes built on science, strategy, and individualized care.
Q: You’ve been recognized as a Top 100 Injector. What sets you apart?
A: Being recognized as a Top 100 Injector is an honor, and it reflects the deep commitment I have to my craft and my patients. What sets me apart is my dedication to continual growth. I’m consistently investing in advanced education, training with leading experts, and staying up to date with the latest scientific research, techniques, and product innovations in aesthetic medicine.
This allows me to offer my patients the safest, most effective treatments with results that are both cutting-edge and natural-looking. I also take a more holistic approach to aesthetics by incorporating regenerative medicine into my treatment plans. By leveraging therapies that stimulate the body’s own healing and rejuvenation processes — such as biostimulators, PRP/PRF, and other regenerative modalities — I aim to not just enhance appearance but support long-term skin health and vitality.
This combination of evidence-based technique, artistic precision, and a comprehensive view of aging and wellness allows me to create personalized, strategic plans that truly elevate results.
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering injectables for the first time?
A: If you’re considering injectables for the first time, my biggest piece of advice is to start with a consultation focused on education and trust. Aesthetic medicine is not one-size-fits-all, and it’s important to work with a provider who takes the time to understand your goals, explain your options, and guide you through the process with transparency.
You don’t need to know exactly what treatment you want — that’s what we’re here for. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that enhances your features while keeping your results natural and aligned with your unique aesthetic.
Q: What’s a common misconception you encounter about injectables?
A: One of the most common misconceptions about injectables is that they always make people look “overdone” or unnatural. In reality, when performed by a skilled and experienced injector, the goal is the opposite: subtle, balanced enhancements that simply help you look refreshed, not different.
The best injectable treatments are the ones that no one can quite put their finger on — they just notice that you look well-rested, confident, and like the best version of yourself.
Q: What do you love most about your work?
A: What I love most about my work is the opportunity to blend science and artistry in a way that truly transforms lives. Helping patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin is incredibly rewarding. Each treatment is a chance to make a positive, lasting impact. That personal connection and the ability to empower others through aesthetic medicine keep me passionate about what I do.
Q: What advancements in the field excite you the most?
A: I’m particularly excited about the advancements in regenerative medicine that are shaping the future of injectables — especially therapies involving exosomes and stem cell technologies. These cutting-edge treatments work by harnessing the body’s natural healing processes at a cellular level, promoting collagen production, tissue regeneration, and overall skin rejuvenation in ways we’ve only just begun to understand.
Q: What are some of your passions outside of work?
A: Outside of my work, I’m passionate about a few key things that keep me balanced and energized. As a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, I never miss a chance to cheer on the Cleveland Browns, Cavs, and Guardians — it’s a source of pride and connection that’s deeply rooted in who I am.
Spending quality time with my wife and family is incredibly important to me; they are my greatest support system and inspiration. I also love to travel, exploring new places and cultures whenever I can, which broadens my perspective and fuels my creativity. Fitness is another big aspect of my life — I’m proud to say I ran the New York City Marathon last year, an experience that challenged me both physically and mentally and reminded me of the power of dedication and perseverance.
Q: What do you enjoy most about living and working in New York City?
A: Living and working in New York City offers an energy and diversity unlike anywhere else. I practice on the Upper East Side, a neighborhood known for its elegance, vibrant culture, and a perfect balance of classic charm with modern energy. It’s a privilege to serve patients in such a dynamic area where tradition meets innovation.
At the same time, I call Astoria home — a lively, welcoming neighborhood filled with incredible food, cultural richness, and a strong sense of community.
Q: Favorite food spots in the city?
A: Choosing a favorite food spot in New York City is no easy task — after all, NYC is arguably the best food city in the world. Being 100% Italian, I have a natural bias toward Italian cuisine, which makes it even harder to narrow down.
That said, some of my go-to favorites include Bamonte’s in Brooklyn for its classic atmosphere, Il Tinello in Manhattan for its authentic dishes and warm vibe, and Don Peppe’s in Queens for its hearty, traditional meals. My culinary journey in this city is far from over — I still have plenty of eating to do before I feel confident that I’ve found the ultimate Italian spots on my list!
Q: If you weren’t a Nurse Practitioner, what career would you pursue?
A: If I weren’t a Nurse Practitioner, I could see myself pursuing a career either as an architect or a physical therapist. Architecture appeals to me because it combines creativity and precision — the same qualities I apply every day in aesthetic medicine when designing personalized treatment plans. On the other hand, physical therapy aligns closely with my passion for health and fitness, allowing me to help people recover, improve function, and enhance their quality of life.
Both paths reflect different sides of my interests and values, but ultimately, I’m grateful to have found a career that blends creativity, science, and patient care so seamlessly.
Q: What inspires you the most?
A: What inspires me most is my family. My parents and grandparents taught me the value of hard work through their own example — sacrificing and striving to give me the best possible education and opportunities. Their dedication laid the foundation for everything I’ve accomplished, and I carry that work ethic with me every day.
I’m also deeply inspired by my wife. Her support, strength, and belief in me pushes me to grow both personally and professionally. She brings balance to my life, keeps me grounded, and motivates me to keep becoming a better version of myself. Together, my family reminds me of where I came from, what matters most, and why I do the work I do.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A: One of the most powerful pieces of advice I’ve ever received was a quote from Michelangelo: “The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low, and we reach it.”
It’s a constant reminder to challenge myself, set bold goals, and never settle for comfort or complacency. Whether I’m refining my technique, growing my practice, or working with patients, I always aim high — because that’s where growth, fulfillment, and true progress happen.
