When can I return to work?
Most patients can return to work after a few days. Tiny scabs will form around the newly implanted hairs. These will fall off in about ten days. Some patients prefer not to return to work until they are gone.
Is it painful?
Your treatment is performed with a local anesthetic, making the experience pain-free. Longer procedures that transplant a greater number of hairs may require more anesthetic to be applied during the treatment so that you are comfortable throughout.
Will there be scarring?
The punctures are extremely tiny, leaving unnoticeable scars. Patients can wear their hair at any length.
How long before I can go in public?
Within 2-3 days, you will be recovered enough to return to your usual activities, but there will still be scabbing on your scalp which may cause self-consciousness. You can wear a hat or covering over your hair, or wait until the scabs rub off after ten days.
Do I need anesthesia?
Local anesthesia is used, but general anesthesia is not required for FUE or PRP procedures.

The cost of hair transplantation varies, depending upon the number of follicles transplanted. Some patients require fewer grafts for a smaller balding area. Others would like a more extensive restoration. Cost is calculated per hair graft. On average, the cost ranges between $4,000 to $12,000.
How long does the procedure take?
Hair transplantation takes 4-8 hours, depending on the number of grafts required.
