PRP and PRF are substances that are derived from a small amount of your own blood, usually taken from a vein in your arm. Most patients are able to return to work after a few days, although tiny scabs will form around the newly implanted hairs, and they will take about ten days to fall off.

Is it painful?

Both PRP injections and hair transplantation treatments are performed with local or topical anesthetic. Anesthetic is continued during longer transplantation procedures to ensure you are comfortable throughout your full treatment.

Will there be scarring after hair transplants?
